All about Dnd Languages is an article written to introduce people to a new type of role playing game. I have been playing Dwarf Fortress since early 2021, and am now in the early stages of trying to master the intricacies of this dark fantasy MMORPG. In my adventures so far, I have learned that Dwarf Fortress' greatest virtue is its diversity, the ability to allow players to choose between many different races. Each race brings a different perspective to the game and can greatly impact your experience as a player. All about Dnd Languages will give you a brief overview of the Dwarf races and what they speak.
First, let's talk about the dnd race of the Dwarves. The dnd races were derived from the ancient elven languages, half human, half elven, human and half dark dwarves who make up the gruffy, mountainous region called the northern wastelands. The name and is short for the forgotten realms, and the name for these races come from their role in the story of the original Dwarf fortress of Thargarth in the "Lord of the Rings". There, these races served as laborers and stonecutters for the dwarves. The most famous of these races, the drow, or dnar, are the original inhabitants of Thargarth, where they built the city of Stonebrains (also known as Underdark).
But in the age-old tale, the story goes that the elven gods ordered the elven kings and elves to flee to the hills of Mount Hyjal, which is in the earth of Mageth in the world of Thord. There, the gods created the sandstone, the first dnd language to be spoken by any race in Dwarf fortress. From this point on, the story explains that the dwarfs and other races in Thord were at war with the show, and only the drow and her allies, the High Elves, were permitted to live in the halls of Mageth. These elves were aided by other races whom the gods had blessed with magical powers, the eluned. Among these races, the show became the most powerful, and they were led by Thordgad, into battle against the show's followers, known as nymphs.
The eluned, being evil creatures, began to attack and murder the other elves and the dwarves. This led to Thordgad banishing the glued to the remote regions of Thordgad Keep which is situated in the far north of Thordgad Tundra. It was here that the elves started to build the cities of Menes and Kelthas. And so the relationship between the dwarves of Thordgad and the drow of Narnhold came about with Thordgad teaching the elves many of the dwarvish ways of magic and their place in the society of Menes.
Many years later, when the elves were ready for a comeback, they turned to the row for help. With their help the show were able to rebuild many of their cities from scratch, such as Thalath and Kelthas. However, there were still many cities that the show could not rebuild, because they were under the total domination of the orcs. Thus, they were forced to leave, and settle down in the civilized lands of Thordgad. They founded the city of Baldurstone and founded the elvish civilization of Thordgad, which lasted for many centuries. After the elvish people took over the lands of Thordgad, they made sure that their written records were kept in the way that would be most pleasing to the elves.
